Event Summary:
REGISTRATION IS OPEN......The R.E.D.5K Run/Walk comes to Virginia Beach for its Inaugural event at the 24th Street Park / 24th Street and Atlantic Ave). Registration opens at 08:00am, and the race begins at 09:00am.

This event welcomes runners and walkers (competitive and leisure) of all ages and anyone that would like to come out and show support for our Armed Forces as we honor those currently deployed.

We hope you’ll join us in making the Inaugural R.E.D. 5K a huge success!

To ensure a positive experience for all, please see below for a few important details to help make your race more enjoyable....

 

REGISTRATION: Athletes may pre-register to avoid delays during race day registration. Online registration is open through Thursday, November 08, 2017. The entry fee will increase to $35 on race day.

Race day registration and check-in begins at 08:00 a.m. REGISTRATION WILL END PROMPTLY AT 08:50 a.m. T-shirts will not be guaranteed for registrations received after Thursday, November 01, 2017 and we have a very limited amount of Finisher Medals so please register early to ensure you receive one. 

 

NO REFUNDS FOR EVENTS ENTERED AND NOT RUN.


SPECIAL GROUP RATE FOR A LIMITED TIME... Save $5 per participant when you register a team of 10 or more people to participate in the R.E.D. 5K Run/Walk on 11 November on 24th Street in Virginia Beach. Register your team PRIOR TO NOVEMBER 02 to take advantage of this offer!

ALSO: You may pick up packets for other race participants; HOWEVER, in effort to avoid miscommunication, we ask that you bring a copy of the participant's registration confirmation email and written permission of the person.


AWARDS: Overall Male & Female 1st, 2nd & 3rd along with all runners will receive a Finishers Medal!

BABY JOGGERS, STROLLERS & PETS: As a safety precaution, stated in the waiver for this event, baby joggers and pets are on a case by case basis for this race. Should you choose to bring a baby jogger or a pet you do so at your own risk; and we ask that you yield to all other runners and walkers and begin the race in the back.

PARKING: You will be responsible for your own parking - there is NO RESERVED PARKING for this event. There are public parking garages and street parking where ever you can find it.

WEATHER: This event is rain or shine (NO REFUNDS)... Let's all hope for lots of SHINE!
