: Online registration closes Monday July 3, 2017 at 12:00pm (or sooner if race capacity is reached). On-site registration may be available if the event is not full, but this is a popular event and registration is limited, so your best bet is to register online now! 2-Miler participants registered before 10:00am on Friday June 16, 2017 receive a race shirt in their preferred size (short-sleeve cotton, unisex sizes Youth M, L, & Adult S, M, L, XL, 2XL). A limited number of extra shirts are ordered and will be distributed on a first come, first served basis to those participants who register after the shirt deadline. There is no race shirt for the Fun Run. Course Information & Map
: The 2-Miler will be professionally timed by Mettle Events. The exact course/elevations change with the winds at Jockey's Ridge, up to the day of the event, but this is a close approximation of what you can expect to experience: http://connect.garmin.com/activity/163077307 .
The Fun Run will start at approximately 9:15am and is a quarter mile in length (out & back from the start/finish line).
On-course Hydration & Medical Services: Water station near mid-point of the course. Dare County EMS will be on-call.

Packet Pick-up & Food Pantry Donations: Monday 7/3/17 from 3:30-5:30pm at Jockey's Ridge State Park, or Race Day on-site from 7:00-8:15am. Please help us help our community members in need - your donations of canned goods and non-perishable food items will be collected at packet pick-up and delivered to our local food pantry after the event, thank you!
Post-race Hospitality: All-American fare for registered participants only. No alcohol is permitted in the Park.
Parking: On-site at Jockey's Ridge State Park. Parking is limited at the Park, so please carpool as much as possible on race morning.
Refunds/Transfers/Inclement Weather: This is a charity race and there will be no refunds or transfers. The race will be held rain or shine, but may be delayed or cancelled in the event of unsafe weather conditions (ex. lightning) at the discretion of Park officials.
