Online pre-registration is strongly recommended. Mail-in is an option and it can be done at Packet Pick-up at Running Etc.Virginia Beach (Hilltop) from 5:00PM to 7:00 PM on the Fridays before each series date.

1st & 3rd races will begin and end at the north trail head of the Dismal Swamp Canal Trail.
These races will all be run on the Dismal Swamp Trail and will be out & back at all distances. 9:00 chip start. Finishline closure is based on a 90-minute 6-mile pace.
2nd race is at Ft Monroe in Hampton with race day packet pick up at the Paradise Club with start finish nearby. Courses include a 5-mile loop of the installation perimeter much of it along the seawall and shore roads.
Packet pick up & late registration at Running Etc. Virginia Beach (Hilltop) 5-7 on Friday before each race. Race day packet pick up is an option for all three races.
Each race will have some swag and runners who complete all three of the distance races will receive a special premium. Finish places & times will be published for each race and the series which will be based on cumulative times for the 3 events. Age divisions are the same for the Shamrock Marathon.
Grand Prix: Watch for announcement of a new Joint Strider-J&A Grand Prix Series for 2017 including some of these races. Also the Super Grand Prix by the Striders, PTC and CRR will include the Ft Monroe races on Jan 28th.
The Race Director and the Tidewater Striders reserve the right to cancel or reschedule or adjust distances as needed in the interest of safety or access restrictions to the venue. Regret no refunds can be given in the event of either re-scheduling or cancelation.
WALKERS: Early starts will be arranged when possible -- watch for announcements.
Post-race Social will be held at Boig Woody's on Jan 7th and Feb 18th and Paradise Beach Club Ft Monroe on Jan 28th.
