PACKET PICKUP
Packet pickup will be at John Paul Jones Arena on Friday, March 20th from 5-8 p.m. You will not be allowed to get your packet earlier than 5 p.m.

There will be limited Saturday pickup for out-of-town runners on Saturday, March 21 from 6:15 a.m. - 6:45 a.m.

When you get your bib, make sure to check your name, gender and age on the back of the bib. If there are any errors, please come to the information desk to fix them. Uncorrected errors could have an impact on the results.

Please bring canned/boxed food for the Emergency Food Bank to Packet Pickup on Friday.

RACE DAY PARKING
Parking will be available at John Paul Jones Arena and U-Hall.
It is imperative that you arrive before 7:05 a.m. All roads to U-Hall will close at that time. Both Massie and Copeley Roads are the first two legs of the race.

RACE START
The race will begin promptly at 7:15am. We have a 2.5 hour time limit, which translates to a 15 minute per mile pace. The roads will be closed for the race. Anyone still on the course after that will be required to move to the sidewalks.

COURSE SAFETY & INFORMATION
We do not encourage the use of headphones during the race for safety purposes. If you choose to use headphones, only use one side. Keep one ear free to hear race directions, cheering fans, and the wonderful music on the course. Anyone with both ears covered runs the risk of being disqualified.

No pets or unauthorized vehicles (including bikes) will be allowed on the course.

Please do not have your children join you for the last run to the finish line. This is for the safety of both children and other runners.

Bathrooms will be available inside JPJ prior to the race and at the Ntelos Pavilion (near the five mile point) during the race. Please be respectful of the facilities provided.

Water will be on McCormick Road which you will pass twice, and on the Corner near Elliewood Ave. Water and Gatorade will be on the Downtown Mall near the Pavilion.

The Finish Line has moved.
The course was measured (three times to be sure) and the finish line has moved up. It's just past the first parking lot entrance to University-Hall after the bridge on Copeley. What does that mean to you? Your final kick will start sooner. When you get to St. Marks Church, start that final kick. The new finish line is just after you come off the bridge.

FOOD
Food will be provided by Whole Foods Market and Great Harvest Bakery. Food will be for runners only. You must have a race bib to partake of the post-race food.

AWARDS
All finishers will receive a finisher’s medal. Awards will be given out starting at 9:15. Overall winners and age group winners will be announced. Age group winners will be based on percentage of entrants.
