Join us for fun, low-key, rolling rustic trail runs at Fair Hill NRMA near Elkton, MD. Take your pick of 25K, 17K or 11K - no need to choose now, decide day of race. Runners are asked to check in at finisher's table to verify times at finish.
There are two water stops (around 6 and 10 miles) and some refreshments at the finish. Please bring your own hydration system of some sort (water bottle, hydration pack, etc) to keep you alive between aid stations. It is recommended that you be prepared to bag any electronics devices you carry at two of the water crossings, just to be safe.
This race has no registration fee and is run in the spirit of a "fat-ass" event, so you are mostly getting an opportunity for a race on well-marked trails -- with water stops -- in this awesome park. However, insurance and permit costs leave us with a couple hundred bucks of expenses so donations will be happily accepted! If you find online donation easier, feel free to choose $10 or $20 register+donate options here on RaceIt. If you prefer cash donation, register for the free option here and look for the beggar's tin cup at the start. Or, register here or onsite and run for free. Donations above our costs will be forwarded to the Save Fair Hill Fund.
Our park permit includes parking! So, registered runners will receive a parking permit.
Limit 100 runners.
Please visit traildawgs.org for more details, including course map and directions to the start.
