ABOUT THIS RACE
Join the 2nd Annual YMCA 5K / 10K / 1 Mile Fun Run & Walk.

Great local SPONSORS!

The race course is a “PR” FAST and FLAT COURSE!

Medals will be awarded to all the finishers!

·         The 5k and 10k race will start at the same time (7:30am sharp) for timing purposes.

·         The 1 mile fun run & walk will start roughly at the conclusion of the 10k (approx.8:25am).

·         The 5k will be 1 lap with water and Gatorade at mile 1 and mile 2.

·         The 10k will be 2 laps with water and Gatorade at mile 1, 2, 3.1, 4, and mile 5.

·         There will be timers calling out mile splits at each mile for each race.

LOCATION & DIRECTIONS
Hunter's Ridge Subdivision. 3 miles west of I-95 on St RD 40. Turn right into Hunter's Ridge on Shadow Crossings Boulevard to 1^st stop sign.

Turn left onto Hunter's Ridge Boulevard and travel north 1.5 miles to Hunters Ridge Boulevard / Airport Road intersection.

FROM ORLANDO: Take I-4 to I-95 N Exit 268. West 3 miles to Hunter's Ridge Subdivision. (follow directions above)

FROM JACKSONVILLE: Take I-95 S to Exit 268. West 3 miles to Hunter's Ridge Subdivision. (follow directions above)

WEATHER

The average weather historically in December in Ormond Beach is a high of 74 degrees and a low of 54. The races start at 7:30 a.m., which should provide optimal running conditions.

PARKING

Race day parking is available at Hunters Ridge Boulevard and Airport Road.

Signs will direct you to the parking area.

Photos will be available just days after the race.
