Beneficiary: This event serves as the primary fundraiser each year for your race organizer, the Outer Banks Running Club. Registration: Online registration will close at noon on Friday 11/22/13 (or sooner if race capacity is reached). On-site registration may be available if the event is not full, but your best is to register online now! 5k participants registered before noon on Thursday 11/14/13 will receive a short-sleeve technical race shirt (Unisex sizes Adult XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL). Course Map & Information: http://connect.garmin.com/activity/130811756 A digital race clock will be positioned at the start/finish for you to keep track of your own time (there will be no chip timing). Baby strollers, wagons, jog strollers are allowed (and encouraged for that matter, but for safety’s sake you will be positioned toward the back at the start). We’re sorry, but bikes, scooters, skateboards, motorized vehicles, “wheelie shoes”, and dogs are not permitted. The Fun Run starts at approximately 9:00am and is 9/10 of a mile in length.
On-course Hydration & Medical Services: Water station near mid-point of the course. Dare County EMS will be on-site.

Packet Pick-up: Wednesday 11/27/13 from 4:00-7:30pm at Outer Banks Sports Club, 2413 S. Croatan Highway, Nags Head (Milepost 10.5 on 158) or Race Day from 7:00-7:45am on-site near the Outback Steakhouse. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, your donations of canned goods and non-perishable food items will be collected and delivered to our local food pantry.
Post-race Hospitality: Light breakfast for registered participants only. No alcohol is permitted.
Parking: Outer Banks Mall, 5000 S. Croatan Highway, Nags Head (Milepost 14.5 on 158). No parking is allowed at the Food Lion (they will be open) or the Outback Steakhouse (race operations will be based there).
Refunds/Transfers/Inclement Weather: There will be no refunds or transfers. The race will be held rain or shine, but may be delayed or cancelled in the event of unsafe weather conditions (ex. lightning).
