Event Details:This is the 26th running of this great race. The race is put on by the Richmond Road Runners Club and the VCU Honor Society of Phi Kappa Alpha. The course records are held by Anna Pichrtova who ran 52:49 and Travis Walker who ran 48:13, both in 2002.

There will be no onsite registration. The fee is $25 for RRRC members and $30 for non-members. Entries are non-refundable and non-transferable.
The Course:The
course is out and back beginning and ending next to the Cary Street soccer field. The course goes out Harrison to Colorado, through the neighborhood next to Maymont and into Byrd Park. Much of the course is flat, but there are a few testy hills.
Location:The race will be run from the VCU Cary Street parking deck located at the corner of Cary and Harrison Streets.
Grand Prix Race:This is a Richmond Road Runners Club Grand Prix Race. Each year the club runs a series of races and members collect points by placing or volunteering at the events. At the end of the year the male and female winners are announced as the Grand Prix Champions at the club's annual banquet.
Packet Pick-Up:Packets may be picked up on Saturday, January 23 at the Mary Mumford School located located between Cary and Grove on Westmoreland Street from 10 am to 2 pm and on race day starting at 7:30 am.
Awards:There will be gift certificates to the top three males and females as well as medals for the first three people in the standard RRRC five year age groups.
T-Shirts:Technical long sleeve t-shirts are guaranteed to the first 800 runners who register. Shirts, however, must be picked up during packet pickup or on race day. None will be mailed.
Race Timing:The race will be chip timed by Kale Running. You will receive a race results email. Results will be posted after completion of the race online at www.rrrc.org.
Random Prizes:Random prizes will be presented after the race while the results are being tabulated.
Refreshments:Will be available after the race. Drinks are being donated by the Road Runner Running Store.
