Eric Cone – President; Senior Developer
In addition to leading day-to-day operations, Eric is responsible for leading the development of platform features and enhancements for RaceIt. Prior to joining RaceIt Eric worked for large-scale e-commerce and online media organizations in various technical and programming capacities. Eric holds a B.S. from Elon University in Sports Medicine.

Orienteering events, adventure races, running, and biking are just a few of the events Eric has participated in. His next goal is to run a marathon (one day). When he is not working on RaceIt initiatives he enjoys spending time with family and training for his next race.

Alison Curtis – Chief Financial Officer
Alison manages the financial and accounting functions for RaceIt.  Alison brings over 30 years experience and has worked for many highly successful individuals and companies during that time. Her accounting career began in 1980 when she went to work for CCA Industries. In 1982 she was promoted and given the opportunity to act as the director of accounting for one of its affiliate companies, North American Marketing, and in 1984 Alison was promoted to the position of controller. Alison joined Royall & Company as controller and worked her way up until 1996 to the position of chief operating officer and director of production services.

Jake Bailey – Vice President - Operations
Jake is responsible for managing product development as well as program management for our new initiatives. Prior to joining RaceIt, Jake worked in online feature development and marketing for large colleges and universities. Jake also brings experience from his work with a boutique investment bank engaged in mergers and acquisitions. Jake holds a B.A. in Political Science and Anthropology from the University of Florida.

Scuba diving, kayaking, surfing, and swimming are just a few of the water sports Jake developed a passion for while growing up on Florida’s east coast. When he is dry and out of the water, Jake likes to spend time with his wife and daughter.

Stephanie Gausby – Creative Director; Senior Web Designer
Stephanie is responsible for logo design, website, graphics, and all print materials for RaceIt. She also supports partners and organizers with creative or usability-related –inquiries. Prior to joining RaceIt, Stephanie worked for GoGrid as a web developer. Stephanie earned her B.S. in Creative Advertising from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Stephanie is our in-house movie expert – we are yet to stump her on a famous quote. When she is not amazing us with her knowledge of movie trivia, she enjoys taking in fine cuisine and playing with her dog in Richmond’s many parks.

Meghan Kaminski – Lead Customer Service Representative
Meghan works directly with participants/registrants on any questions they have regarding event setup or feature functionality, including updating participant information and initiating manual billing for participants needing assistance. Meghan works with other members of the creative department on customization and client-level requests. Meghan received her B.A. in Studio Art from Sweet Briar College.

Being in the outdoors is what keeps Meghan happiest. She is proud to be the lowest scorer amongst the RaceIt team – on the golf course! When she is not teeing up for a quick round on the back nine, she enjoys excercising and spending time with her friends and family.

Bryan Jenkins – Sales Associate
Bryan has been tasked with promoting our partnership program and also serves our clients in the northeast. He networks with existing and potential RaceIt clients to discuss their needs and discover if our services and technologies can help. Prior to joining the team Bryan worked with several startup endeavors, including alternative fuels and mobile marketing. Bryan attended Lynchburg College where he earned his B.A. Sports Management.

Bryan is our fastest runner – he has participated in hundreds of events from 400m to Marathon as well as put together several events. Bryan likes to spend time with his family, a good round of disc golf, and staying involved with his many entrepreneurial engagements.

Whitney Kailos- Account Manager
Whitney is responsible for managing our existing client accounts to ensure the event director’s needs are addressed.  She is responsible for educating clients on platform features, assisting with advanced event setup, and is available to help our clients with any questions throughout the duration of their event.  Prior to joining RaceIt, Whitney participated in an internship program with a large public school system where she helped to implement health and wellness throughout the student body.  Whitney holds a B.A. in Psychology from Christopher Newport University.

A runner to the core, Whitney’s commitment and dedication to the industry was evident from the first day she joined Raceit, in crutches from an injury training for what would have been her second marathon.  She has participated in numerous 5K’s and half marathons, but will have to wait a while and heal before tackling longer distances.  Whitney worships the water and warm climate but during the colder seasons can usually be found in the gym (frequently), reading, or spending time with family and pets.
