Jake Bailey

Jake Bailey – Vice President - Operations
Jake is responsible for managing product development as well as program management for our new initiatives. Prior to joining RaceIt, Jake worked in online feature development and marketing for large colleges and universities. Jake also brings experience from his work with a boutique investment bank engaged in mergers and acquisitions. Jake holds a B.A. in Political Science and Anthropology from the University of Florida.

Scuba diving, kayaking, surfing, and swimming are just a few of the water sports Jake developed a passion for while growing up on Florida’s east coast. When he is dry and out of the water, Jake likes to spend time with his wife and daughter.

 

Meghan Kaminski

Meghan Kaminski – Account Manager
Meghan works directly with clients and participants on any questions they have regarding event setup or feature functionality, including updating participant information and initiating manual billing for participants needing assistance. She is responsible for educating clients on platform features, assisting with advanced event setup, and is available to help our clients with any questions throughout the duration of their event. Meghan works with other members of the creative department on customization and client-level requests. Meghan received her B.A. in Studio Art from Sweet Briar College.

Being in the outdoors is what keeps Meghan happiest. She is proud to be the lowest scorer amongst the RaceIt team – on the golf course! When she is not teeing up for a quick round on the back nine, she enjoys running and spending time with her friends and family.

Whitney Kailos

Whitney Kailos – Account Manager
Whitney is responsible for managing our existing client accounts to ensure the event director’s needs are addressed.  She is responsible for educating clients on platform features, assisting with advanced event setup, and is available to help our clients with any questions throughout the duration of their event.  Prior to joining RaceIt, Whitney participated in an internship program with a large public school system where she helped to implement health and wellness throughout the student body.  Whitney holds a B.A. in Psychology from Christopher Newport University.

A runner to the core, Whitney’s commitment and dedication to the industry was evident from the first day she joined Raceit, in crutches from an injury training for what would have been her second marathon.  She has participated in numerous 5K’s and half marathons, but will have to wait a while and heal before tackling longer distances.  Whitney worships the water and warm climate but during the colder seasons can usually be found in the gym (frequently), reading, or spending time with family and pets.

Arthur Kingdom

Arthur Kingdom – Senior Account Manager
Arthur is responsible for managing our existing client accounts to ensure the event director’s needs are addressed.  He is responsible for educating clients on platform features, assisting with advanced event setup, and is available to help our clients with any questions throughout the duration of their event. Arthur holds a B.S. in Mass Communications- Public Relations from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Phillip Hillier

Phillip Hillier – Account Manager

Phil is responsible for managing our existing client accounts to ensure the event director’s needs are addressed. He is responsible for educating clients on platform features, assisting with advanced event setup, and is available to help our clients with any questions throughout the duration of their event. Phil holds a B.S. in Mass Communications- Strategic Advertising from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Outside of RaceIt you’ll probably catch Phil at a baseball game, running in various road races or volunteering as an Alumni Advisor at the VCU Chapter of Theta Chi Fraternity.

Jim Snow

Jim Snow – Technical Lead

Jim is responsible for directing the development of our registration platform. He brings to RaceIt over 17 years of experience in the IT industry and has served in both managerial and programming roles. Prior to joining the RaceIt team, he worked as an independent contractor in both the public and private sectors and for consulting agencies. Jim holds a BBA from James Madison University and a MS Information Management from Arizona State University.

Jim enjoys all things triathlon and has competed in many races including Ironman distance events. His goal is to someday race in Kona. He is an avid reader but his true joy is spending time with his wife and two sons.

Charlie Hogue

Charlie Hogue – Senior Developer

Charlie is a Microsoft Certified Programmer (MCP) and has been working in the Information Technology field since 1984. He has been Programmer, System Architect, Lead Programmer, Database Architect, Team Leader, and Project Manager on various projects that employed multiple technologies (web development, SOA, client/server, relational databases, etc.)

Tony Faulkenstein

Tony Falkenstein – Quality Assurance; Information Architect
Tony is responsible for testing the platform and new features that are updated/created by the development team. Prior to joining RaceIt Tony worked as a Lead Designer and Information Architect for a government contractor developing systems for troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. Tony holds a B.F.A. in Art Studio with a concentration in Graphic Design from George Mason University.

Mountain biking, snowboarding and whitewater rafting are amongst the numerous outdoor activities Tony enjoys. When not spending time outside Tony loves spending time with his family and little one.

Josh Larson

Josh Larson – .Net Developer
Josh is responsible for the development of all things social. He brings 7 years of software development experience to RaceIt including leading several projects ranging from mixed mode C++/ .Net libraries to SharePoint based web applications. Prior to joining the RaceIt team, he worked in the Gaming and Financial sectors. Josh holds a B.S in both Computer Science and Computer Integrated Manufacturing from Central Michigan University (Fire Up Chips!!!)

When Josh is not working on software, at work or in his free time, you can find him playing at the park with his daughter, swimming, snowboarding, or watching the occasional scifi movie.

Darren Wamboldt

Darren Wamboldt – Senior Web Designer
As the senior web designer, Darren Wamboldt leads the design and usability of our registration platform as well as design for our race websites. Darren brings over 12 years of interactive design experience and has worked on a wide variety of projects, including government, healthcare, editorial, and small businesses. Prior to joining the Raceit team, Darren worked as an interactive designer for an advertising agency. Some of his recent work includes sites for the George W. Bush Presidential Center, American magazine, National Audubon Society and Martha Jefferson Hospital.

Originally from South Dakota, Darren grew up camping and hiking in the Black Hills and also spent time working in Seattle and Phoenix before moving to the East Coast. With degrees in commercial photography and visual design, in his free time he can often be found sketching or snapping pictures or working as a freelance designer. He’s also and avid Masters swimmer and enjoys competing in local swim meets.

Vance Jones

Vance Jones – Project Manager
Vance is responsible for project management support with our key client. He brings many years of experience in IT management and project management (PMP Certified) to the team from a variety of industries. Prior to joining RaceIT, Vance spent a short time at Capital One following his move to Richmond from New Jersey. There he worked at a luxury goods company as an ERP manager and IS Director for several years.

Vance holds a BSEE from Bucknell University. Vance enjoys foot races and has run in eight New York City Marathons in the past 10 years. He also enjoys working out (P90X anyone?), playing tennis, and doing many types of outdoor activities. When not running races or training, Vance enjoys spending time with his new wife and their combined five children.

Wendy Poole

Wendy Poole – Customer Service Advocate
Wendy works directly with participants/registrants on any questions they have regarding event setup or feature functionality, including updating participant information and initiating manual billing for participants needing assistance. Wendy received her B.A. in Business Administration from Longwood University in 2012. Before coming to Race IT, she worked as an ambassador for many different events most of them being marathons.

Wendy loves anything to do with the outdoors especially hiking. One of her most favorite things to do is walk the trails of nearby parks. Other than exercising she is our in house biggest movie buff. One of her favorite movies is the Wedding Singer.
